Alberta E. Freeston, 90, of Brittany Pointe, died on November 7 2009. 

Born in Nanticoke, PA, She was the daughter of the late John & Ethel Lawrence.   She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert C. Freeston.  

She is survived by her two sons, Robert W. (Jackie) of Erie, CO and John C. (Nancy) of Fort Washington, PA, her five grandchildren, Megan (Rich) Torres of Salem, OR, John (Jennelle) Freeston of Longmont CO, Gail (Pete) Miller of Castle Rock , CO, Michael Freeston of Ambler and Meredith Freeston of Fort Washington and a great grandchild, Caitlynn Miller.  

She was preceded in death by her sister and 3 brothers.   

She is a graduate of Wyoming Seminary, Kingston, PA.  She was a homemaker and member of Christ United Methodist Church - Lansdale, PA.   She was affiliated with Contact 609, United Methodist Women, Brittany Pointe Chorus, Brittany Pointe Quilters, and a Volunteer Cuddler at Grand View Hospital.  

There will be a memorial service on Saturday November 21, 2009 at 11AM at Brittany Pointe Estates.  Friends may call after 10AM.   Internment will be private at Oaklawn Cemetery, Wilkes Barre, PA.
