Robert H Baist, of Fort Washington, Formerly of Hatboro, died on June 21, 2010.  He was 90 years old.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on November, 9, 1919 the son of Harry V and Mildred H Baist.  He was the husband of the late Emily Baist. 

He attended the University of Pennsylvania and was employed as a Cartographer and Real Estate Appraiser.  He worked for Penn-Dot for 20 years before his retirement in 1985.  He also served in the United States Navy during World War II.  He was a member of Lehman Memorial Methodist Church.  

He is survived by two children, Harry (Joan) Baist of Hatboro, PA and Robert (Valerie) Baist of Freehold, NJ.  He was predeceased by a sister, Janet B Kellogg of Springhouse Estates.  Also surviving are five grandchildren; Steven, Brian, Christopher, Shawn and Chelsea.   

Funeral Services will be held at Shaeff-Meyers Funeral Home on Friday June 25, 2010 located at 145 Tennis Ave, Ambler PA 19002.  Friends and family may call after 10:30 with the service, officiated by Rev Richard Shaw, to begin at 11:30am.   

Internment will be at West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
