 Agnes
(Reice) Burgess, 86, of Flourtown and
formerly of Roslyn, passed away suddenly on
December 23rd, 2010 at home. Agnes was born
in Philadelphia to the late George and Agnes
(Judge) Reice, graduated from John W.
Hallahan Catholic Girl’s High School.
She worked at the former Public Federal
Savings and Loan in various areas including
the retirement department. Agnes enjoyed
spending her time with family and friends
and volunteering at St. Joseph’s Villa.
She is survived by her three children,
Christine Raines (Robert), John Burgess (Willella),
and Stephen Burgess (Katherine), and their
father, Lester Burgess, as well as three
grandchildren, Daniel and Christopher
Burgess and Evan Raines.
Friends and relatives are invited to
services at St. Joseph’s Villa, 100 West
Wissahickon Ave, Flourtown, PA on Wednesday
December 29th, 2010 at 10:30am. Friends may
call from 9:30 AM to 10:30 at the Villa.
