John Possehl, Jr., of Blue Bell, PA, died
November 20, 2010 at Town Manor West in East
Norriton, PA. He was 92 years old. He was
born in Union City, NJ on November 7, 1918
the son of the late John Henry and Mary (nee
Wolf) Possehl. He was husband of the late
Marie (Schmitt).
He attended Stuyvesant High School in Bronx,
NY. He was employed as an Electronic
Engineer and co-founder of “Teletronics,
Inc.”. He retired in 1964. John served in
the United States Army as a 1st Lieutenant
in the South Pacific during World War II and
the Korean War.
He was a member of the Frankford Radio Club
(amateur radio operator W3KV), Antique
Automobile Club of America and the Rolls
Royce Club.
He is survived by his daughters Linda M
Breithaupt (Chip) of Lansdale, PA and Lois
J. Mason (Chuck) of Eagleville, PA, 4 grand
children; Kathleen, Michelle, Timothy and
Jeannine and one great-grand child;
Caroline.
Services will be on November 24, 2010 at
Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home, 145 Tennis Ave,
Ambler, PA. Friends may call from 10am to
11am with a service starting at 11am.
Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre
Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the Montgomery
County Association for the Blind.
