 Faith
Arlene Rotelle (Phelps) was accepted into
Heaven on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at
2:00 am with family by her side. Faith was
born on June 20, 1940 to Joseph and Hope
Phelps of Oreland, PA. She has been a
resident of Maple Glen, PA since 1962.
Faith graduated from Springfield High School
in 1958 and became a practicing nurse at
Montgomery County Hospital, though she
devoted her life to being a wife, mother and
grandmother. She was an active member of St.
Alphonsus Church in Maple Glen and St.
Theresa’s Parrish in Tuckerton, NJ. Her
interests included her family, boating,
traveling and gardening.
Faith is survived by her beloved husband of
48 years, Alfred F. Rotelle of Maple Glen; 2
brothers, Joseph Phelps of Hatfield and
James Phelps of Lower Gwynedd; 3 children
and their spouses, Wayne and Deborah Rotelle
of Quakertown, Frederick and Karyn Badgett
of Albuquerque, Craig and Jill Rotelle of
Collegeville. Missing her dearly are her 12
grandchildren and her loyal dog, Lady.
Faith was preceded in death and by her
brother John, and her parents Joseph and
Hope Phelps.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, November
30th from 9:45-11:15 am, St. Alphonsus
Parish, 33 Conwell Drive, Maple Glen PA. A
funeral mass will follow at 11:30 am with
burial services at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in
Faith’s honor to The American Cancer
Society, Abington Memorial Hospital Oncology
Department, Life Choice Hospice, or Artman
Home in Ambler, PA.
