Alan Richard Tweedie of
Lansdale,
PA, formerly of Fort Washington, PA
died on July 12, 2010 in Quakertown PA.
He was 52 years old.
He was born in
Philadelphia
the son of Albert R and Jean M (nee Marvel)
He was the husband of Judith E.
(Bruno) Tweedie for the past 7 years and was
pre-deceased by his first wife, Elizabeth M
Tweedie.
He was a 1977 graduate
of Wissahickon Senior High
School and was
employed as a Psych Tech at Northwestern
Institute, Fort Washington, for 15 years.
He was also employed as a security
guard for Allied Barton where he worked for
5 years.
He was a member of
First Presbyterian Church of Ambler, was an
active member of the Boy Scouts in his youth
and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his
sister Cheryl Tweedie Drinkwater, Ambler PA,
a niece Cassie (Christopher) Drinkwater
Brusch, Fort Washington, PA and a nephew
Kenneth Drinkwater of Ambler PA.
A memorial service will
held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 7PM at
Shaeff-Meyers Funeral Home,
145 Tennis Ave,
Ambler PA.
Friends and family may call from 6PM
to 7PM.
The service, officiated by Rev.
Pauline Sexton, will begin at 7PM.
