Barbara Ann Cassidy

Barbara Ann Cassidy, 79, of Nanticoke, PA, and formerly a long-time resident of Ambler passed away at home surrounded by her family on November 23, 2025.

Barbara was born on January 26, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Walter and Ethel (née Butler) Thomas.

She worked for IMS as a manager of statistics systems in the drug industry. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts.

She is survived by her children, Hope Lynn Neely and JP Cassidy; her son-in-law, Curt Neely; three lovely grandchildren, Megan Cassidy Duda, Grace Kathleen Neely, and Abigail Eve Neely; one great-grandson, Roman; and her sister, Diane Atlas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 2021, the late Joseph P. “Pat” Cassidy, Jr.

The funeral service will be held at Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home on the morning of Wednesday November 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be held privately by the family at a later date.
