Dolores, “ Dee” Irwin Wright Winters, 95, of Boca Raton, FL passed away peacefully on April 28th, in the early morning at Harnett Woods Nursing Home in Dunn, NC., after a brief illness.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Linda Wright Monds and her husband Kenneth Earl Monds of Dunn, NC; Raymond Reese Wright III and his wife Dorte Christensen Wright of Williamsburg, VA and Paula Jean Wright Monks and her husband Brian Barrett Monks of Vienna, VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Leonard Earl Monds, Raymond Reese Wright IV, Erik Christensen Wright, Michael Raymond Monks and William Timothy Monks.

She is predeceased by her first husband Raymond Reese Wright, Jr of Ambler, PA and her second husband Clair Clinton Winters of Boca Raton, FL.Dolores, led a long and productive life, born on January 26, 1931, in Chester, PA to Jenny Mallard Irwin, and Samuel Irwin. Her primary role was one of a homemaker and she worked part time as a bookkeeper. She was a wonderful mother and known as a great cook, entertainer, and decorator. An avid bridge player, she achieved the status of Life Master. The title of Life Master was a significant milestone for her, reflecting her dedication and skill.

She was also a long-time member of the Royal Palm Yacht Club in Boca Raton, FL, where she also maintained a beautiful home. A talented athlete, she won the Senior Women’s Royal Palm Club Golf Championship in 2002. Her “short” game was legendary.

A model person, a devoted mother and a great beauty, she will be missed and remembered by her friends and family.
