Dorothee Lois Pepper

September 21, 1942 — July 11, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothee Lois Pepper, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who left us on July 11, 2025, at the age of 82.

Dorothee, affectionately known as Dottie or Dot, was born on September 21, 1942, in Abington, Pennsylvania, and spent most of her life living in Horsham and later in Jenkintown. After high school, she began her career as a dental assistant, where her compassion and care left a lasting impression on many patients and coworkers who became lifelong friends. After retiring from the dental field she continued working in the bakery of Giant grocery store, where she found joy in making new friends.

Dottie fully embraced her love for the summertime and the beach, especially Long Beach Island, New Jersey. She cherished her time spent there, eagerly searching for sea glass, shells, and finding happiness with her toes in the sand and ocean. Dottie enjoyed listening to Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Rod Stewart, and Jimmy Buffet and these tunes could be heard during her drives down the shore or at family parties and celebrations.

Dottie's legacy extends to her loving children, William and wife, Kerry; Steven and wife, Tammy; Jeffrey and wife, Terry; and Linda. She is also survived by her devoted grandchildren, Will, Cole, Scarlett, Keely.and Saylor; her great-grandchildren, DJ and Maverick; her sister, Janet and nieces Laura and Christine. Dottie cherished her family deeply, celebrating every moment with them. She was a proud grandmother and loved sharing stories about the kids with everyone who knew her. Whether through family traditions, shared trips, or holidays, she created special memories that would last a lifetime.

Dorothee is predeceased by her husband, William Enzlo Pepper III,and his sons Randal and Scott; her grandson, David Adams; and her parents, Lillian and Otto Sift.

In her spirit of joy, Dottie loved to celebrate life, and it is her family's wish to continue honoring her legacy of love and celebration. A memorial service will be held on July 17, 2025, at Lehman Memorial Methodist Church in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. Visitation will begin at 10 AM, followed by a service at 11 AM. In honor of Dottie’s love for summer and the beach, we kindly ask that instead of attendees dressing in dark colors of mourning, guests wear vibrant, bright summer colors to celebrate her and what she loved most. A luncheon will follow the service, where everyone is welcome to attend, share memories and celebrate her wonderful life.

Dorothee’s warmth, caring spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire all those she touched. Let us honor her memory by celebrating life as she would have wanted us to do.
