Elizabeth “Bette” Woodward Moore Clark, 98, of Fort Washington, PA (formerly of Maple Glen) passed into the loving arms of her Savior on January 17, 2024. She was born on August 31, 1925 to Russell and Laura Woodward Moore in Collingswood, New Jersey. Bette was the wife of the late Donald Clark who passed away in 1982 and mother of the late Alan J. Clark, the late Glenn Clark and the late Brian Clark. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Judith Puscizna Clark of North Wales, Pennsylvania and her granddaughter, Rebecca Clark McKenna, (William) of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, her sister Ruth Moore Halliday, Ocean City, New Jersey and many nieces and nephews.
She graduated from the University of Delaware and received her bachelor’s degree in Art. She continued to create beautiful pictures in watercolors and oils until very late in life.
A woman of great faith, Bette was a very dedicated member and supporter of her church, Supplee Presbyterian Church in Maple Glen. She will be remembered for her generous spirit.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Supplee Presbyterian Church, 855 Welsh Road, Maple Glen, PA 19002. The visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:00. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bette’s memory may be offered to Supplee Presbyterian Church, 855 Welsh Road, Maple Glen, PA 19002.
