Frederick W. Seibert passed away on May 20, 2024 at his home in Horsham, PA.

Born on May 29, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Albert and Margaret (née Wilson) Seibert.

Fred was a proud veteran, honorably serving in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960. It was in the Army that he met his wife, Lieselotte Seibert (née Braun). They married on December 21, 1961 and were married until her passing on July 26, 1993.

Following his time in the Army he settled in Philadelphia and worked as a machinist producing grinding wheels for Simons Abrasive and later for Precision Grinding Wheels. Following his role as a machinist, he worked as a painter.

He was a former parishioner of St. Leo’s Roman Catholic Church in the Tacony section of Philadelphia prior to the church catching fire. Fred was an avid history fan and watched the history channel frequently. He also enjoyed vacationing with his family. Above all, Fred loved his family and his family loved him.

He is survived by his four children; Fred David Seibert (Julie), Michelle Mielke (Gregory), Gregory W. Seibert, and Timothy Seibert (Melissa); 15 grandchildren, JR Beech, Kim J. Sauerwein, Frederick W. Beech, Thomas Beech, Frances M. DeWoolfson, Susan Morris, Savannah Fonner, Samuel Seibert, Gregory Seibert, Alexander Seibert, Matthew Seibert, Lieselotte Seibert, Abigail Seibert, Emmaleigh Seibert, and John Seibert; as well as 9 great-grandchildren, Nicholas DeWoolfson, Amber Raine Beech, Timothy Seibert III, Michael Fonner, Christopher Fonner, Maliah Seibert, Nico Harkins, Paxton Seibert, and Kaimana Morris.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lieselotte Seibert and grandsons, Timothy Seibert Jr and Michael Wagner.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday May 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church located at 321 Witmer Road, Horsham, PA 19044. A viewing will begin in church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment with full military honors will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
