George Kriebel Brecht II

George Kriebel Brecht II died at age 76 of complications of Wegener's vasculitis. He resided at Brightview in East Norriton for the past 18 months. George was born in Norristown, PA on June 30, 1940, the son of the late Dr and Mrs. John M. Brecht. He graduated from A. D. Eisenhower High School and Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia. He worked in retail for many years, both at Sears and Home Depot. Survivors include his brother-in-law and sister Thomas and Mary McGready (nee Brecht), nephew John B. McGready, and 2 grand nephews. He was predeceased by a niece Katharine B. McGready. At George's request, there will be no formal services. Donations in his memory may be made to Wissahickon Valley Public Library, 650 Skippack Pike, Blue Bell PA 19422 where George enjoyed volunteering.
