Gerald "Jerry" Francis Mackey

February 25, 1972 — March 12, 2024

Gerald Francis Mackey, 52, of Telford, PA passed away on March 12, 2024 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

“Jerry” was born to loving parents, Charles and Mary Mackey of Washington’s Crossing, PA on February 25, 1972. He graduated from Council Rock High School North. He was the loyal spouse of Heather (Majka) Mackey. He worked as a heavy machine operator his adult life until his illness didn’t allow any longer.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 23 years, Heather Mackey, daughter Erin Mackey, two sons Sean and Thomas Mackey, two brothers, Paul Mackey (Michelle) of Hutchinson, NJ and Raymond Mackey of Hazelton, PA, two nieces Nicole Collier-Dick and Shana Collier, and many others that love him dearly. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Mackey and his devoted sister Lynn Ann Torrone.

Jerry will be best known as the best friend that we all were blessed to have.He would give anyone the shirt off his back and lived life to its fullest. He was intensely proud of his three kids and some of his last words were “my kids will set the world on fire”. His health battle was fought long and hard.There isn’t a person alive that doubts his love for his family and his will to stay with them longer. He was our real life superhero that defied all odds to stay just a bit longer with us. His loss is immense.

A funeral mass for Jerry will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St Agnes Catholic Church located at 445 N Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. A viewing will be held in church from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. before mass. Interment will follow at Sellersville Cemetery.
