Joseph Anthony Ciampa, 83, passed away surrounded by family on the evening of October 5, 2025.
He was born in Abington, PA on June 6, 1942 to the late Raphael and Esther (née Pileggi) Ciampa.
Following his graduation from Cheltenham High School, Joseph served honorably in the United States Air Force where he was stationed overseas in Germany and Turkey. He then went on to work as a technician and Service Manager in the office equipment industry. He later owned and operated Banacom signs with his wife in Warminster. Following his retirement, he oversaw the renovations of two properties for his son, enjoyed playing golf and worked part-time at Five Ponds Golf Club and Mainland Golf Club.
While operating the sign business, Joseph was member of the Warminster Rotary Club and LeTip Network, a gathering for businessmen in the area. Before very recently moving into Brittany Pointe Estates, he was a 20 year resident of Harrington Village where he helped maintain the club house.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marie A. (née Linck) Ciampa; two sons, Thomas (Missy) Ciampa and Peter Ciampa; three grandchildren, Alex, Amanda, and Abigail; one great-grandson, Vincenzo; his sister, Margaret (Late Robert) Shouldis; and his brother, Ralph (Sharon) Ciampa.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 919 Tennis Ave, Maple Glen, PA 19002, officiated by the Rev. Rodney Roehner, Rector. Family and friends may call at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Military honors will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph’s name may be made to St. Matthew's Episcopal Church at the above mentioned address or a charity of your choice.
