Lillian L. Poli

Lillian L. Poli, of Lower Gwynedd, and formerly of Sayreville and Jamesburg, New Jersey, passed away on January 26, 2024 at Grand View Hospital at the age of 98.

Born in Bayonne, New Jersey on May 4^th, 1925 to the late William and Florence (née McGillicudie) Lutz. She graduated from the Bayonne High School and when on to attend the Muhlenberg Nursing School. She later obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the Jersey City State College. 

She worked as a nurse for the Perth Amboy Hospital and as a visiting nurse for Middlesex County. She then went on to teach science at the Woodbridge Junior High School.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Loren) Lang of Michigan; her son, Frederick (Roberta) Poli of Lower Gwynedd; 4 Grandchildren: Michael, Christopher, Kristin, and Caroline; 11 great-grandchildren: Brayden, Brynn, Amelia, Alexandra, Kierstyn, Christopher, Cameron, McKenzie, Amelia, Sloane, and Reese.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, the late Aldo Dino Poli.

 Family and friends are invited to Lillian’s viewing on Tuesday January 30, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church located at 259 Forest Ave, Ambler, PA 19002 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. with the funeral mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, New Jersey where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.
