Louise Mabel Whorral

Louise Mabel (née Grauer) Whorral passed away comfortably at home, with her beloved husband by her side, on October 9, 2026, at the age of 83, following a brief battle with cancer.

Born on October 12, 1942 to the late George and Mabel (née Renninger) Grauer, she was raised in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. Louise attended Penn State University, where she met Eric, her husband of 64 years. A lifelong Penn State football fan, Louise could always be counted on to cheer on the Nittany Lions.

Above all, Louise cherished time with her family. Whether gathered at home or enjoying family vacations at the beach and around the campfires, she treasured the moments spent together. Some of her most special memories were made when her friends and family came to visit and admire her seasonal decorations. Her home became a true monument to her most treasured memories.

Her passion in life was maintaining close relationships from her childhood in Quakertown to her years in Pittsburgh and Fort Washington, and later during time snow-birding at Colonial in Fort Myers. Throughout her life, Louise had several cats who were a true extension of her family.

Louise is survived by her loving husband, Eric Whorral; her brother, George Grauer; her two sons, Greg and Chris (Phyllis); her grandchildren, Michael (Laura), Justin (Kaitlyn), Sydney (Kyle), and Jessica (Phil); and her great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Reese. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and her beloved cat, Mabel.

A celebration of Louise’s life will be held on Sunday October 25, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at McCoole’s at the Historic Red Lion Inn, 4 S Main Street, Quakertown, PA 18951.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Louise’s name may be made to the Philadelphia Zoo.
