Margaret “Peggy” Louise Manga Larsen, 72, of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 9, 2024 in Huntington Valley, PA.
Peggy was born on April 6th, 1952 in Cherry Hill, NJ to her late parents, Thomas Manga and Anna Campbell Manga. She attended Cherry Hill West High School and Helene Fuld School of Nursing, and married David Larsen on May 10, 1975. She worked as a nurse in the South Jersey area for many years.
Peggy was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Kelly Larsen Baughman (Michael) and Chrystie Larsen Walsh (Chris). She loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren, Charlotte, Caroline, Lilly and William Baughman, and Declan Walsh. Peggy is also survived by many lifelong friends, and cousins on both her side and her late husband’s side. She is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Eileen, George, John and Ann Marie.
Peggy loved being a nurse, and even when she was suffering from end stage dementia still loved to care for others and help the caretakers who lovingly cared for her. Peggy loved gaining “sons” when her daughters married and loved spending time with her grandchildren and especially loved carrying out holiday traditions with her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family and many cherished memories.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation that will be held on Monday April 15, 2024 at Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home located at 145 Tennis Ave, Ambler, PA 19002 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a service following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
