Patricia Ford Wright

Patricia Ford Wright of Lansdale, PA passed on August 17th, 2017 at Towering Pines in Ambler, PA at the age of 85, surrounded by many of her children and grandchildren. Born in Philadelphia, PA - the daughter of (the late) Reginald P and Phyllis W Ford, and wife of (the late) Louie E Wright. Pat graduated from Germantown High School and then went on to attend Colby College and Temple University before she began her true calling as a beloved wife and mother. She lovingly served her family as an Army wife for 62 years, and her legacy is carried on by her 3 children, Phillip F. Wright and wife Julie Wright (Burke, VA), Jeffrey M. Wright and wife Nancy Wright (Ambler, PA), and Sherry Wright McCarthy, widow of David McCarthy (Dallas, GA), her 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren, with a 10th on the way. The memorial service for Pat will be held on Saturday, August 26th, at 1pm at Meadowood in Worcester, PA and will by officiated by Pastor Sue Ebersberger. A private interment will take place. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Pat's favorite charity: Shriners Hospital for Children; 2900 N.
