Reinhold Schaffroth, Jr.

Reinhold Schaffroth, Jr., 81, of Lansdale, passed away on June 15th, 2025 in Abington, Pa. Reinhold (Ron) was born in Philadelphia, Pa to Elsa Plangger and Reinhold Schaffroth on July 12th 1943. He graduated from Germantown High School in 1961.

He was an Army veteran serving from 1964-1970 in the 1st Target Acquisition Battalion 25th Artillery stationed near the D.M.Z. in S. Korea. As a Specialist 4th class his role was as a Survey Recorder. He worked as a Grocery Store Manager for various chains for most of his working life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching all types of sports. He was true Philly sports fan!

Ron is survived by numerous loving family members. He is proceeded in death by his parents Elsa and Reinhold Schaffroth.

Visitation will be at 10:00am on Wednesday June 25th, 2025 at Shaeff-Meyers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am following Visitation. Burial will follow at Whitemarsh Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Manna on Main Street, North Penn Commons 606 East Main St. Lansdale, PA 19446.
