Ronald Nestel

Ronald Nestel passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 85. Born in Philadelphia, Ron was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Frank and Clara (Walters) Nestel. He graduated from Frankford High School, where his passion for baseball flourished. Post-graduation, Ron was scouted by the St. Louis Cardinals, embarking on a promising baseball career until a knee injury intervened.

Throughout his lifetime, Ron dedicated himself to the automobile industry, with a special affection for Cadillacs. Each Cadillac he owned was a reflection of his unwavering commitment to elegance and power. Whether gracefully cruising down the open road or proudly parked in his driveway, his Cadillacs were more than mere vehicles; they were extensions of himself. Beyond his love for automobiles, Ron found solace and joy in spending time by the bay in Stone Harbor, N.J., surrounded by his extended family.

The family extends heartfelt appreciation to Ron's neighbors for their unwavering support and kindness over the years. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard, located at 150 N. Main Street, Ambler, PA 19002. 

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a graveside service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024, at Northwood Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA.
