Thornton Robert “Bob” Wagner, of Blue Bell, peacefully passed away on Sunday June 26th, 2022 at Abington Hospital- Jefferson Health surrounded by his devoted wife and daughter.
Born in Germantown Hospital on December 10th, 1938 to the late Thornton and Emma (née Sweet) Wagner. Bob was the youngest of three sons.
He worked as a tool and die maker at Moore Products and later became a foreman. After retiring from Moore Products, Bob started his own locksmithing business. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ambler. Bob loved tinkering around in his garage, spending time with his family and taking long walks in the woods with his dog.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine (née Doherty) Wagner; daughter, Kelly Bushnell and her husband Bill; and two grandchildren, Jamie, and William.
Bob’s funeral service will be held on July 5th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home located at 145 Tennis Ave, Ambler, PA 19002 with the Rev. Ryan Balsan officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private for family only following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s name may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Ambler where Bob was a faithful member or to the Montgomery County SPCA as Bob was an animal lover.
