Robert L Baltzersen, Sr.

Robert L. Baltzersen, Sr. of Ambler passed away on January 18 at his home. Born in Barren Hill, Pennsylvania on April 3rd, 1935 to the late Niels and Emma (née Bauer) Baltzersen.

Robert graduated from Springfield Township High School and went on to serve honorably in the United States Marine Corps. Robert was employed by the United States Postal Service for over 35 years at the Flourtown Branch retiring in 1990. In addition, Robert was a member of the Ambler Church of the Brethren.

Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years Mary B. Baltzersen (née Bysher) in 2019, as well as a brother, Niels P. Baltzersen. He is survived by 3 children: Robert L. Baltzersen of Ambler, PA; Kristine B. Galganski of North Palm Beach, FL; and Hans E. Baltzersen of Bethlehem, PA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
